Vancouver island has some huge trees! Linking arms around the trunk is hard work! They are gifungous! Supposedly some of these are 800 years old. Most of them are off trail and you can't get to them - but this one was accessible. They are well over 100 feet tall - certainly makes you feel small.

Cool Picture. Looks like you are getting the real west coast adventure. You'll miss those trees when you come home to the bald prairies.
